Vinarija Jokić is not built on a single idea, but on a collection of characters who carry it.
Mare runs the winery the way you run things you truly care about. She understands that wine is not just a product, but an experience that begins at the table. That table is never formal: prosciutto and cheese are a given, but so are fritule, strudels, and everything that makes Dalmatia what it is—warm, direct, and full of flavor.
Cvita safeguards what isn’t immediately visible. Her precision is quiet, yet essential. Every process passes through her hands and her control, because in wine, there is no room for chance. Everything must be exact, at the right moment, for the right reason.
Kembo is the force that drives the vineyard. His relationship with the land and the wind is not learned, but innate. He knows every row, every tractor, every sign of changing weather. During harvest, when everything must happen at exactly the right time, he becomes the rhythm of the entire winery.
Luka is the link between the vineyard and the world. His job is to ensure the wine reaches where it needs to go, but the way he does it leaves an impression. People remember him for his smile and for keeping his word—and in this business, that matters just as much as the quality of the wine itself.
Nikolina is the first encounter with the winery. Her energy is open and sincere, her curiosity unmistakable. With her, wine is never just a drink, but a story with depth and development—just like the wine itself. She will guide you effortlessly through the space, the varieties, and the processes, and in the end, she will certainly invite you to try the best prosciutto you’ve ever had—no question about it.
Anđa is responsible for administration, details, and everything that requires patience and care. She doesn’t enjoy being photographed or filmed, but her presence is everywhere. Without her, nothing would function as it does. You’ll find her at every gathering, making sure everyone is together and that nothing is ever missing.
And finally, there is Duško Jokić.
As for Duško Jokić, he is best understood in person.
We could say that he has woven years of work, experience, and a deeply personal decision to dedicate himself to his native Dalmatia into the winery. But that alone doesn’t fully capture what is felt here.
Only when you arrive—when you see how much care goes into every row of the vineyard, and how much life exists in everything that is done—does it become clear that this winery is deeply personal. It reflects a relationship with the place it comes from, and with everything that can grow out of it.
That is why Vinarija Jokić proudly carries his name.
